Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie Schedule

It can be hard keeping up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is currently putting out three new films every year. Can’t remember when your favorite hero is coming to the silver screen? Here’s a quick rundown of what you have to look forward to over the next few years.

Thor: Ragnarok

Is coming out November 3, 2017. This final installment in the Thor sub-franchise has the Asgardian hero heading into space to battle Hela, goddess of death (and the MCU’s first female big bad)! Thankfully he has some backup from the formerly AWOL Hulk, Doctor Strange and fellow Asgardian Valkyrie.

Black Panther

Comes out February 16, 2018. Set in the fictional African nation of Wakanda, we focus on King T’Challa, whose duties include serving as the country’s protector, Black Panther. When someone tries to overthrow him, he and CIA agent Everett K. Ross will work with his royal guards, the Dora Milaje, to end the crisis.

Avengers: Infinity War

Comes out May 4, 2018. This is the one that you’ve been waiting for! Thanos attacks! All the MCU’s heroes must unite together! This is the Avenger’s final battle! …Except not, because go down a little on this list.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Comes out July 6, 2018. This sequel to Ant-Man sees Scott Lang team up with Hope van Dyne, who now goes by her mother’s code name of “Wasp,” in order to shrink down for another mission.

Captain Marvel

Comes out March 8, 2019. Set in the 1990s, this film will follow Carol “Captain Marvel” Danvers as she works with SHIELD to battle the Skrulls. This will be the first MCU film with a female as the singular lead.

An untitled Avengers film comes out May 3, 2019. Essentially the second part of the above-mentioned Infinity Gauntlet, this one’s mostly under wraps, save that everyone will be to continue the big battle.

All of that is Phase 3, but we actually have a single preview of Phase 4! The untitled Spider-Man: Homecomingsequel comes July 5, 2019. Spidey swings back into action, but sadly not much else is currently known.
